Wendell Berry is the author of the essay called “The Loss of the Future” which was published over forty years ago and is still prevalent in issues today. “The Loss of the Future” deals with the issue of human behavior in the world. Humans do not see the impact their behavior has on the world as a whole, nor do they want to be held accountable for it to change their ways. He emphasizes topics such as the play on words used today, such as ghettos where they are meant to be more than just the negative connotation put on them.
