I think that employees who recieve tips shoould not be paid the same minimum wage as other employees because if that happened, then the prices of the menu would go up and they would lose business. Also some of the employees would get shortened shifts and maybe even laid off even if they have worked very hard. I think that these employees already get paid enough as it is with their tips. If this really went through, there would be a lot of problems for the owner to deal with at Waffle Now.

First off, I think this is mainly a bad idea because the resturaunt will lose alot of customers due to the menu items going up in prices. In the letter, "Server Wages cannot Be Increased," it states that the restaurant could end up closing down and lose many customers due to the prices. This would all be because of the servers who wanted the federal minimum wage. For example, if Waffle Now decided to pay their servers a higher wage, then the boss will need to raise the prices of the menu items in order to pay their servers.
