Application for summer nursing program ( camp )
The idea of nursing was first introduced to me in the summer of 2016. My aunt Carol talked about how she really enjoyed her job as a nurse. She talked to me about everything she went through to become a nurse. The schooling, her wages, her hours, the difficulties, and the fun. I had mentioned that I really enjoyed learning about human anatomy in 7th grade. She gave me a book called, “ The Human Body In Health and Illness Third Edition.” By Barbara Herlihy. As I continue to read every chapter becomes more and more interesting. My aunt asked me questions that were on her nursing study guide. I did not get too many correct, but enough to know that I wanted her to challenge me even more. After that, I talked to my dad, who is a doctor, about nursing. He told me that if I really enjoyed learning about anatomy then I should research it. I watched Youtube videos, read medical articles, and watched presentations. I felt as if I were some kind of sponge that kept gathering up all of this new information. Eventually, my mother and I found this application for camp RN online. The real question is will I eventually make those standards? I intend to join this program to find out and if I will meet the expectations. In the early 1870s, nursing was first introduced for young women. In 1898, nurses began going to war with the soldiers to take care of them, so they could fight. As the years went by women were able to get an education. Math and Science challenged many and makes our brains stronger. Learning is an exercise. Math and Science help you through your everyday life. Knowing how to count change and heal a small wound is very important. Let’s say math and science didn’t exist. We wouldn’t have electricity and certain tools that we have till this
