I am applying for the Sunnyside Doctor's academy, because since I was in third grade, I have always been so fascinated in doctor's work. What inspired me to want to become a doctor is when I in third grade and I went on a field trip to the fairgrounds and they had a career day. Everyone was so fascinated about the firefighters and police, but I was drawn to the doctors. At the fair, they let me listen to my own heart with a stethoscope, and from that day on my dream career was being a doctor. As a grew older I always enjoyed helping people in any way, even if was just giving someone a bandage. If someone got hurt, I was always there with my little first aid kit, my friends, even gave me the nickname "little doctor". I know that this medical program is the best in Fresno, and it can help me even college, so getting in would get me closer to living my dream. I've developed a love for sports, track and field is one of my favorites, in fourth grade the coach of the team had seen me do cross-country and recommended me to track. I wasn't interested at first, so I didn't even go to tryouts, but a few days later, the coach had come to me personally and asked me to at least come out to a couple of practices, I agreed to try it out. Thank goodness, he came because, after a few practices I was hooked, my favorite event was triple-jump, I had the drive to make myself the best possible triple jumper I could be. My hard work really paid off because, in 6th grade, I went all the way to the valley championships and beat the 20-year-old record.
