Journal: Supervision and Management Style
My leadership style based on the Leadership Assessment was assessed as a Creative-Results Leader. The characteristics of a Creative-Results Leader are individuals with a high standard of personal ethics, intestinal fortitude, resilience in defeat, brilliant minds and the capacity for hard work (Rosen, 2015). As with any leadership style their strengths and weakness with style.
Strength
The Creative-Results leader commonly approaches leadership decisions utilizing creative flexibility to avoid obstacles and difficulties to achieve their goals. They allow others to assign the details and procedures to accomplish a giving task. Creative leaders indirectly by promoting a creativity‐supporting work environment (Mathisen, Einarsen, & Mykletun, 2012).

Weakness
Under this leadership style, a worker who may need more direction or lacks high levels of self-motivation could be left behind. Causing productivity to suffer, if failure to convey a strong sense of accountability among their workforce. The key drawback of getting others involved in decision making is that it may slow decision-making process (Grint, 1997).
Addressing Weakness
This leadership style must structure tasks, stabilize staff, strengthen their position with the use of formal and informal strategies, and provide support and encouragement to all subordinates (Dellve &Wikstrom 2009).
