Although I liked this book, there were things I didn’t like, and some things I did like. One thing I liked about this book was that it was accurate to Norse myths. All of the events and characters that involved Norse myths, were completely accurate. For example, Magnus is attacked by “Surt” (Riordan 42) or “The Black One”(Riordan 42). Surt is a “real” person in Norse Myths. Another thing I liked about this book, was that all the characters were very unique. For example, Hearthstone was a mute and Blitzen was a dwarf that wanted to start his own fashion brand. Lastly, I thought the book was never slow.
