Singer was dependent on Antonopoulos needing his help, that he did not know how to live without someone relying on him. After Antonopoulos left, Singer needed someone else to rely on him. Singers is using Mick Kelly, Doctor Copeland, Jake Blount, and Biff Brannon to try and fill the empty hole in his heart that Antonapoulos left. The other characters do not know he needs them and he likes it that way. None of the characters know about his broken heart that's, why he can use them to fix it. There is only one thing that truly motivates Singer and that's when will he get to see Antonapoulos next.This is what helps him get thru everyday knowing that he is just one day closer to seeing Antonapoulos.Once he loses that motivation, he tries to find a temporary new one. Once that fails, he gives up hope on everything.Without any motivation he gives up his will to live. Then he is left trying to find a new motivation. When Singer lived with Antonapoulos they had a routine schedule together. They did the same thing everyday but they didn't mind. They would work to work together, then go to their separate jobs. After work, they would meet back up to walk home together. This is what they did day in and day out. He shows his soft side when he tries to get Antonopoulos to still live with him and his tough side when Charles Parker tells him that Antonopoulos is going away and he cant stop it.. He has a lot of patient as he weeds thru all the information everyone tells him. Sometimes he doesn't even know what they are talking about but since it is important to them he listens.Which he does alot, there isn't a time where Singer is home without someone in his room talking to him. This is good for him thought so he doesn't have to get used to the emptiness after anthopoulos
