The suspenseful narrative "Cujo" by the author Stephen King uses third person narrative to create suspense in the story that has the readers anxiously wanting to know more. The story starts by Donna and her son having a normal day by them going to collect their car from the garage when she suddenly hears a low growl. The growl turns out to be Cujo Joe Camber's dog. He turns rabid and starts to attack Donna, where she has to fend to her life.
Summary from chapter 8-10 Name:Dinora Delgado. In chapter 8 it talks about when Johnny’s mom went to the hospital to see Johnny. But Johnny didn’t want to see his mom, because he say “She’s probably come to tell me about all the trouble I’m causing her and about how glad her and the old man’ll be when I’m dead”. Also Ponyboy said “I have a bad feeling about this”.
There are comparisons and contrast in the movie and the book “The Outsiders”. For example in both when Ponyboy and Johnny run away from after killing Bob they go on the train to the abandoned church in both. They are similar because in the story and movie Johnny kills bob then runs away with Pony. They go to Dally where he gave them a pistol and told them to jump on the train and get off at the second stop Windrixville and go to the abandoned church on top of jay mountain. Another example of similarities between both is they still have all the main characters in the greaser gang.
The chapters 1-5 of the Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, is about two gangs the greasers and the Socs, who are always causing trouble. In the greaser gang, the protagonist, Ponyboy, is always getting good grades and is the smartest in the gang. Dally is one of the members in the gang, Ponyboy 's brother, has been in jail multiple times. Sodapop is also Ponyboy’s brother. He works at a gas station.

Ponyboy comes home late at night , and Darry caught and yelled furiously at him for being out late and as Soda tries to defend him he became angry and slapped Ponyboy. Outsiders Exclusion is a serious word when it comes to The Scarlet Letter. For Hester Prynne, being excluded does not simply mean that she is barred from society or even miniscule conversations. Hester bears the sin of adultery and wears it quite literally with shame. Therefore, she is excluded in a way that punishes her while the Puritan society speculates what their options for her punishment are. Hilton, we go to a time where gangs remain dominant and run the streets. S.E. Hinton tells us about two enemy gangs. The Socs, one of the many provocative gang groups, kids who live lavish lives and get away with the crimes they commit because they look clean cut and look like good innocent kids on the outside.
Lovecraft´s “The Outsider” is retold by a first-person narrator who lives his whole life in a castle without any light and form of human contact. After years he takes the courage to climb up the inside of the castle´s black tower and escape. At the top he comes out through a trap door in a dark room where he finds a door from which he goes outside and sees the moon for the first time and the stretching ground with a nearby stone church. Wandering through the countryside he stumbles upon a house where a friendly gathering takes place. Going inside the inhabitants flee in blank horror leaving the narra-tor alone, confused and afraid.
Out of all the characters from Outsiders the one that appealed to me the most was two-bit because of how silly he is throughout the story. Two-bit was always the one to cheer people up when they were down and he could also get tough when he needed to be tough. Compared to two-bit my least favorite character is dally cause of how violent he is throughout the story he was always either tormenting or threatening someone and that just never appealed to me. In outsiders I have always felt like i related to Ponyboy the most cause of his love for books and sports.
Coming from a mind set where everything has to be physically seen to be proven true; where the power of the mind and psychological events are only auditory, not taken into consideration is what we are taught to follow by society. However, in “The Stranger” this takes a great shift as it is set in an existentialist setting where constant struggles of being an “outsider” occur. In “The Stranger” by Albert Camus, Meursault, a psychological indifferent character, struggles with physically demonstrating emotions; however, manages to portray those thoughts mentally through the environment, rather than physical actions. Throughout the novel, it was evident that the psychological events were crucial; therefore providing elation through mental contemplation.
While talking to Tony, a clip of the elevators in the hotel open up with blood pouring out of the doors. Watching this scene, an unsettling feeling appears that something climatic may happen very soon in the film. Another scene that is well done with suspense is when the twin girls are appearing
