Environmental Solution We decided that to properly implement our sustainability business plan, we need everyone to understand our goals for Bank of America. Our first goal is to properly explain our sustainability plan. We will explain how and encourage Bank of America to go paperless. As you can see in figure 2, they have already made efforts toward this goal. Going paperless means that we believe everything should be handled electronically. This will help the company advertise to those who are in support of eco-friendly businesses. In addition to this, going paperless would reduce costs that result from paper, ink, and printer maintenance. The next factor we want to explain to Bank of America is our efforts in encouraging employees to walk, bike, or carpool to save energy and eliminate the emission of fossil fuels into the environment. Since 2007, Bank of America has increased their funding for this business initiative from $50 billion to $125 billion. They accomplished this through lending, investing, capital raising, advisory services, and developing financing solutions for clients across the country (Bank of America). If Bank of America wants to complete their business initiative by 2025, they will need to ensure that employees are following along with the plan. We understand that Bank of America has a budget and scheduling system. However, we want to ensure that this is being followed through weekly meetings. If this idea is implemented, it will help Bank of America increase their client base. The reason for this is because clients will see how committed and organized they are to completing their environmental business initiative.
