We have to reach sustainable development, in order to have the best possible system in the future- which is based on the use of sustainable energy sources .
‘Sustainable development’ means that we have to ensure the possibilities for future generations to have the same access to crucial resources as we have today, including following; freshwater, rare elements, phosphorus (which is needed for plants to grow; has a vital role in the photosynthesis) etc. (It 's a fact that the global consumption of resources has already exceeded the limit of an amount that 's sustainable. Each of our

The reasons behind this, are in fact; that ‘biofuels ' are seen as a renewable energy source, according to today 's conditions. They are made up on the plant, and other organic matters. Plants are replanted and constantly grows while organic waste materials are being collected, used and then recycled- very efficient. Biofuels are therefore easily produced and during a quite short time.
They are also carbon neutral- meaning that they neither increase or decrease the present atmospheric carbon dioxide level and instead keeps it on a steady level. It gives out a sustainable amount of carbon when combusted since they contain carbon that 's only surpassing each stage in the carbon cycle, so they don 't invest with adding more carbon to the cycle. This means that biofuels don 't contribute to an enhanced Greenhouse effect, and instead supports the idea of sustainable development.
But, the statement above is only applied as long as you replant the crops and plants- which were harvested and combusted for the production of biofuels, because otherwise, there will be a diminished cultivation, and there will therefore not be as many plants absorbing the CO2 in the air, meaning that the atmospheric carbon dioxide level would slightly increase, for every plant that’s used and never replaced.
One disadvantage with biofuels could be
