All over the world there are many different symbolism in other cultures. Some symbols might mean evil for one culture and others might mean innocence for another culture. For example of a symbol that many people might find frightening is the Nazi’s swastika. Western cultures like the U.S and Europe think that it means it’s a white supremacy. The swastika doesn’t original mean Aryan race to take over the world. In eastern culture like Japan, China, and Korea. The Buddhism swastika actually means good fortune and wellbeing. The reason why western cultures don’t think the swastika as something positive is because the Nazi used the swastika as a symbol to their new Aryan race. Currently, Neo Nazi still use the same symbol and they think it means pride in their Aryan race and that they are better than every other race. Certain animals are respected like the owl. In western cultures like Greece. The Greek mythology often associated the owl with Athena showing the goddess meant wisdom. Owls are supposed to represent wisdom in western literature because of their stare. On the other hand, in India owls are a complete contrast compare to western culture. Owls are mean unintelligent and it is thought because of their stare. Both cultures interpret their stares in different ways.
