Introduction Running a SWOT analysis provides an opportunity to step back from the day to day operations within the company and assess the bigger picture. Identifying areas in which the company is excelling or has the ability to capitalize a benefit from, ensures actions can be taken to maintain these strengths or opportunities. Analyzing what is driving success in order to maintain that success or replicate in the future. In the same respect, identifying negative traits within the company can ensure action is taken to alleviate these pressures. To classify as a nanobrewery and take advantage of the discounted licenses offered by the State of New Hampshire they cannot exceed 2,000 barrels per year. With volumes that low, 603 Brewery needs to run a tight budget to stay profitable. The brewery utilizes a 15 gallon system so production compared to other microbreweries in New Hampshire is low (603 Brewery). Many nanobreweries just do not produce enough volume to be to see profits, no matter how good their beers are. Nanobrewers often brew as a hobby and keep a second job because brewing on its own is not enough to support them and their families (Hall, 2014). There is already a robust beer market in New Hampshire but corporate beer giant, Annheuser-Busch has a large presence due to the fact that one of their brewing centers is located within an hour from 603 Brewery. Recently, 603 Brewery has expanded its operations moving to a larger facility. If 603 Brewery can continue to grow in distribution volume and popularity while remaining under the radar of the larger corporate and regional breweries then they would have the opportunity to carve out a solid market foundation (603 Brewery). One way to grow is by expanding their relationship with New Hampshire beer distributors. The NH Craft Alliance who 603 uses for distributing is partners with 4 beer distributors in NH; Bellavance Beverage Co., Clarke Distributors, New Hampshire Distributors and White Mountain Distributors (NH Craft Alliance). While these are large well know distributors they are not the only distributors in the state. Because 603 is still to small to handle their own distribution they will need to contract it out for the foreseeable future. Partnering with NH Craft Alliance was a great start but as they grow it would be beneficial to explore other distribution options to make sure they are expanding their distribution
