INTRODUCTION I. Nestlé India ("About us", n.d.) Nestlé India, which the company was formed in the year of 1961, is a subsidiary of Nestlé S.A, a Swiss transnational food and drink company headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. To date, the company has a total of eight factories and more than 7000 employees across India (See Figure 1). Nestlé India’s main priority is to provide its customers with a wide range of products that meet global standards and continues to show commitment to long-term sustainable growth and shareholders’ satisfaction. Furthermore, the company insists on the honesty, integrity and fairness in all aspects of its business as well as the business relationships in between.
