“I desire the things which will destroy me in the end” (BrainyQuote). Her dad died when she was 8 (Poets). He was very strict, so after he died, she wrote the infamous poem named
Daddy (Poets). Her first national publication was at the magazine called Christian Science
Monitor after high school (Poets). Her interest in writing was great, she always kept a journal with her to write important stuff about her life (Bio). After she published a lot of her poems, she got a scholarship to a school she wanted to go to (Bio). This paper will be about the life of a girl named Sylvia Plath.

It’s about how she got lost in her thoughts when she would think about the good things in life that she doesn’t have (AllPoetry). This poem is for the people who think life could be better than it already is (AllPoetry). A brief summary about this poem is a girl with nobody to love so she thinks about how it would be to have a love life like the other people (AllPoetry). There is rhyme in this poem, and in each stanza, it is an aba form. An example is in line 1 and 3 which is dead and head (AllPoetry).
Secondly, there is repetition which means that the phrase is very important in the

The theme is her thoughts because she thinks her love life could be better than what it already is (AllPoetry). My personal reaction was that it was happy, but it means for her is that she did not live a good life which means she had to write these poems so she can just have a minute to think and calm down (AllPoetry).
