Sylvia Rambo Biography

Sylvia or better known as Rambo grew up in Compton. Sylvia grew up in an upper-middle-class black family she had a new car every year. Sylvia is the younger sister of Marcus or also known as China dog and a founding member of the Lueders Park Piru a notorious street gang based in Compton. In 1973 Sylvia's father was convicted of drug possession and was sent to prison. 16-year-old Sylvia none joined the Lueders Park Pirus after her brother Marcus ( China dog ) was gunned down by a carload of Compton Crips. China dog was wounded but somehow managed to survive the brutal attack and was recovering at a nearby hospital. 16-year-old Sylvia was gearing up to go on a shooting spree and crypt territory. in the 1980s crack cocaine epidemic hit the

1991 Sylvia was approached by police officers with a warrant for her arrest she had two opportunities either go to jail or reveal the day-to-day drug operations of the Lueders Park Piru. Sylvia received a phone call from her mother who confirmed that her oldest brother Junior was shot in the back of the head while walking his girlfriend home Sylvia stated that Junior was not a part of the gang and was one of the holiest people she knew she said that Junior would not hurt a fly because a fly has the will to live if you do she did not understand why junior was shot or targeted but what she didn't know is with her being Top Dog in the game and her family being in the center and like royalty, she will get revenge on the Crips for Junior's death. Sylvia then went around in the Crypt territory and was talking to them and whoever's name came up within the conversation she went to their house and shot them in the head not only did she get revenge but she made their mothers feel the same way that her mother did when she found out her son was

so I am applying the learning theory cognitive to Sylvia's life. cognitive is Knowledge that is built upon knowledge and with her father teaches her to fight her own battles shoot her own gun change her own Tire be like a man her brother is in a gang and her wanting to be like him and show that she's just as strong as him with the mother not really being mentioned in her life the only thing she knew was to be like a man. so with two male figures one teaching her and one showing her her whole life growing up that it's okay to fight it's okay to shoot a gun, it's okay to be in a gang then that is really all she knows so she's going to grow up to be like that. Sylvia wasn't taught by her mother to be like a woman she didn't grow up playing with Barbies playing with makeup dressing up instead she grew up learning to fight change her entire deal with her own car deal with her own problems shoot a gun she was taught male aspects instead of being taught Female aspects of life. Sylvia only did what she knew she was built upon the knowledge of a man and the man in a gang so Sylvia was only acting out on what she was taught this is how the learning theory cognitive applies to her
