I’m talking about the Young Goodman Brown story. What I think that is symbolic in the story is the village of Salem. The village of Salem stand for Puritan. The village of Salem is a symbol to represent the ideal and the believes of Puritan. I think this because I know that Puritan are very religious and believe that many things are the signs of the devil and witchcraft. For example, when Young Goodman Brown and heard Goody Cloyse calling the old man the devil and admitting that she is a witch. I know that back in the days of Salem many females were accused of witchcraft and man and woman were accused of devil worshiping. Therefore, that why I think that the village of Salem is very symbolic in the story of Young Goodman Brown. Now I am talking
