Who or what influenced you to apply to Syracuse University? (Maximum: 250 words) My aspiration to etch a career in finance is behind my applying to Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management. I discovered my interest in business administration and management when I joined a theater group’s production department as a seventh grader, started appreciating the importance of timelines; staging shows as per the predetermined schedules. In keeping with my interest, I studied the Commerce Stream in grade eleven. My proclivity to make rational decisions, based on educated study, made Business Studies my preferred subject. Now that I will graduate from high school, I look forward to embark on the next phase of my life’s journey. Once a Whitman undergraduate, I will have access to a plethora of opportunities that will facilitate my expanding my academic repertoire. Firstly, I will tailor the flexible curriculum that is taught by thought leaders and business gurus according to my preferences; understand every aspect of business. In that context, I look forward to take on courses, like, MAR 255, MGT 248, SOM 354, SCM 265 etcetera; discover the various concepts and principles of management; further my understanding of markets. …show more content…
