I think the appropriate ages for a youngster to begin watching T.V. is around the age of five, when a child is five and able to grasp the concepts of wants being presented on the television. In reference to the hours of T.V. time that I would allow a child to watch would also depend on if the child has a medical problem. For children with these types of issues and depending on the age of the child they may only be able to watch television without the sounds they are hearing impaired. Kids who can’t hear they would only be able to understand the words on the T.V., so I consider that kids would have to be old enough like the age of five or six to be able to understand the words on the T.V. or just look at the pictures, if they still can’t read. In conclusion, if parents would call the station, I would suggest to them of the hours children are allowed to watch depends on these factors that were stated above. I would recommend to the parents, as well to block channels, use parental locks and use access codes for the T.V. to help cut down the amount of time your child is watching T.V, set boundaries with children, and the content that is
