Camp X trained over hundreds of people that were trying to become spies for a clandestine operation. The location of camp x had a good impact because it was in the perfect location in whitby, Ontario which was a good location for the radio signals from the U.K. Camp x was a secret spy training camp established by the British government during world war two. Its impact on Canada was significant as it helped to establish Canada as a major player in the world of intelligence gathering.
