They signed into Arista Records. Their debut single Good Life was released in 1990. It got to #79 on the Billboard charts. They also released 4 singles, Slow Flow, So Many Ways, Only Love, and The Boss.
Their contract was annulled since the sisters could not agree on a marketing strategy. Their age differences were to blame. The siblings performed background vocals for their sister, Toni Braxton when she was on tour a year later.
Tamar went solo. She released a debut self-titled album in 2000. The album featured guest appearances from Missy Elliott, Jermaine Dupri and Tricky Stewart.
The Braxtons released their debut and only studio album, So Many Ways in 1996. It got to #83 on the Billboard 100.
