King Leonardo let his eyes pierce into Timothy as he studied him. The Tapestrys stood in submission, with their heads bowed for what seemed like an eternity as the king peered at their empty hands. King Leonardo said, “I am not sure where you and your wife could be hiding our clothes, but you did give me your word that they would get done. So, why aren 't they here?” Timothy and Adeline bowed. “Your grace,” he began. “I was going to tell you that we simply did not have the time to complete your coats when we were trying to make them as splendid as you deserve. I will be honest though, and admit that my wife and I wasted the three days you gave us. Now all we can ask for is your mercy.” The king took a second to consider this. If I threaded my needle as long as Adeline did, then I would have too much to keep track of. By threading my needle sparingly, I know I can get each length of sewing done.” Queen Alisha nodded as if this statement was the final testament she needed to win her case. She then prompted, “Adeline, why do you thread your needle so long?” “My schedule never allows me to waste time,” Adeline replied. “There is always too much to get done. I am not going to spend extra time rethreading my needle.” “So both of you conceived your sewing styles in an attempt to save time?” Timothy and Adeline looked at each other in agreement; they nodded their heads. “Yet neither one of you actually finished your project.” This was another statement that neither one of them could dispute. “Why is that?” The Tapestrys wore a look of bewilderment. Time had always seemed to be an elusive concept to them; much like a unicorn it was something they could never catch. After all, their current plan hadn 't worked. So, neither Timothy nor Adeline could answer the queen. They simply did not know why their sewing styles hadn 't worked. King Leonardo had been watching the conversation throughout its duration. He too had been subject to his wife 's’ wisdom, and saw the lesson she was now trying to teach. He chose this time to step in, and said, “Balance. You two lack balance when it’s the very quality that you should be striving to
