Target differentiates itself from competitors by selling a wide range of higher quality products for a modest price, and by having a pleasant ambiance inside its physical stores. By having reasonably priced items, Target makes sure that they attract customers into the store and keeps the customers in and shopping with the warm atmosphere and clean surroundings, The first draw to consumers is that Target stocks and sells items of superior quality and recognizable brand names compared to other competitors such as Walmart or Kroger. The prices of those products are proportionate to their quality and yet are reasonable in order for as many customers as possible to have access to the products. However, even though there is a higher price, the amount paid is an exchange for items with a greater lifespan and durability.
