When researching the Tasmanian Devil (Devil) I first began looking at information to do with it such as its habitat and its threats. This helped me to develop my understanding of the Devil. This simple research developed my knowledge skill greatly and allowed me to then go on and gain more information from different sources, these different sources focused on other topics to do with the Devil such as its conservation programs. When I first began researching the Devil I knew very little about it and what I did know were simple facts about the Devil, for example I knew that it lives in tasmania. I knew that the Devil was endangered but I did not know specifics about the reasons. Now that I have conducted some research into the topic of conservation of the Devils I know what affects it and why it is endangered; the trip to the Zoo further developed my knowledge on the Devil. At the Zoo I was able to observe what sort of environment the Devil would live in and I noticed its elusive movement and the way it used the dense flora to move around. After starting my research I was able to understand what dangers Sea Lions face and how they are being conserved in the wild and in captivity. After going to the Zoo to see the Sea Lions I further developed my knowledge of them and observed their behaviour. I quickly developed the opinion that Sea Lions in the will must act differently to those in captivity. The Sea Lions in the Zoo acted very relaxed and this is expected, as they do not face the stresses that they would in the wild. On the Zoo trip I also learned of the conservation programs being undertaken there, specifically that the Sea Lions there do not breed, and that the Adelaide Zoo is more of a place for the Sea Lions to
