Tattoos as we know them today are a very controversial topic. Some people have their love for it, and others think that it's an act of rebellion or something that is unnecessary to have on your body. Over time, tattoos have become more accepted in the society we live in today, of course, there will always be people who are against this form of self-expression, but certain forms of media allow users and to connect, to get inspired to learn and to ask questions, the list can on and on.
Now that social media is a thing people use on a daily basis the people that are passionate about body art have come together. They have now formed a community of some kind, where nothing is taboo, and any choices people make won't be judged. One of the most important things that we see is that the blog is scannable, there are lists of tattoo artists, for example, that helps to catch the audience's attention. They tend to use different formatting as in they use words in bold, italics, capitals and underlining to emphasise certain points that could be for the tattoo healing process for instance. Other techniques could include beheadings and subheadings; they are effective ways of drawing readers further into the articles. Pictures play a big part in body art blogs, the readers are going to be lured down the page by pictures, they are often placed cleverly, and of course it has to relate to the key points and content of the entry. Blogs mostly find creative ways to reinforce their main points throughout the posts. The bloggers always make sure to never overwhelm the reader with so many new ideas and information, instead, they like to use a series of posts that relate to each other
