For me, Internship 2 is an immensely significant course due to the practical and tremendous value it delivers. Thanks to this course, I was able to enhance my expertise in a professional environment and learn from experienced teachers. These aspects assist in expanding my understanding and positively transforming my perspective on English teaching. Based on the activities I accomplished throughout my Teaching Assistant experience and Micro-teaching experience in this course, I am more acquainted with the exhilarating occupation of an English teacher. There is no denying that when interacting with learners - particularly kids and teenagers - teachers may have difficulty maintaining their concentration, regulating their actions, and stimulating active engagement. Besides, instructing adults has its own set of obstacles since it can be hard for them to assimilate new knowledge and modify their own cognitive patterns. Working as a teaching assistant in English classrooms assisted me in dealing with some of these issues. I have learned more about the diverse teaching methods and approaches that are useful. First, one issue that I need to address is my pronunciation. My pronunciation is quite decent; nonetheless, it is sometimes monotonous. As a result, students may become bored and divert attention. Definitely, I will work harder to improve my stress and intonation. I plan to work hard every day to practice speaking English using English-speaking training software and international pals. Second, I will plan ahead of time for each class so that I can convey the content effectively. From my perspective, well-preparation enables me to face fewer unexpected obstacles. I will arrange the activities effectively before the class, which bolsters my confidence when it comes time to instruct my students. In addition to preparing the lecture, I will double-check the facilities, such as the speakers, projectors, microphone, laptop, and so on, before instructing to ensure that everything is in working order.
