When I graduate highschool and eventually college, I want to become a preschool teacher. Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” I want to teach the children to be curious about everything, help introduce them to the world, and to be an important part in every kid’s life. I love working with little children. I want to help them along a little bit in their lives. I can change the world and every young child's life that I come in contact with. Preschool teachers teach young children through playing and through game. They also help the children prepare for kindergarten. Preschool teachers use interactive activities to teach the young. They teach reading, writing, math, and science. Preschool helps young children learn about the outside world, develop motor skills, and further develop their social skills. A lot of things happen in a day at a preschool. In the morning the teachers greet the students and parents. The teachers then start to get the children ready to learn and do their activities for the day. After that the children might hear a story read by the teacher or they might do some other fun things to help them learn the correct materials. After the children eat lunch, they will most likely take a nap and then go outside to play or they might work on a project. At the end of the day when all of the students leave it is time for the preschool teacher to plan the next day’s lessons and projects. (What It’s …show more content…

There is no homework in preschool. The teachers teach the children skills during playtime and Storytime. They help the children develop socially and teach them problem solving skills. The materials the teachers use to teach consist of puzzles and crayons. Preschool teaches have to use their imagination and think of creative ways to teach younger children. They help the children and the children’s parents get ready for elementary school. Ages three to five normally go to a preschool, but preschool teachers are trained to work with all ages up to the age of eight.
