After teaching my first math lesson in a 3rd grade classroom at work experience, I was not sure on how good I taught the math lesson to the students29. A few minutes before I was about to leave the classroom this little boy named John came up to me and said, “ Thank you for helping me learn my nines of multiplication.32” I was so stunned on what he said, my heart sank into my chest and I could not stop smiling20. I felt so accomplished that I just helped this little boy that was struggling on multiplication of nines for awhile 20. It felt rewarding knowing that he learned something from the lesson I just taught 14. From that experience, I definitely know that the education field is where I belong 14. With the love and support from the person that influences me into the education field, and my driven attitude and strong work ethic I think the education field is my fit. 31 I plan to pursue a degree in the education field and will earn a teaching certificate in my post …show more content…

6 The teachers they can point to and say, “That individual assisted me in becoming the person I am today. 19 ” For me, I have one special person that I can do that to 13 . This individual is not only my favorite teacher, but very influential in my life. Katie Josef, my Ed Tech teacher, has shown me what true passion for the field of education looks like 33. I witness her upbeat personality, and get to experience the kindness she exuberates to her students on a daily basis. 20 She drives the individuals in her class to succeed to their best ability. 13 She inspires me to become an outstanding teacher in whatever field I choose to pursue. Mrs. J has shown me what a teacher that cares for her students truly looks like. With the love and support she shows, it is no mystery how she creates unbreakable bonds with her students- bonds that last for many years, even after a student's graduation. I desire to create these same bonds with my future
