When friends work together as a team, there's a better chance to survive. The main character, Katniss Everdeen, is facing an unforgettable problem throughout the hunger games.One of the problems they face they have to kill people to survive. Looking out for others is teamwork because part of team work is working together. Katniss Everdeen has to meet up with her partner Peeta Mellark to search and form an alliance. The hunger games is in a arena which the 24 tributes fight into the very last competitor. Katniss Everdeen's favorite weapon to use is the bow. Peeta Mellark does have any favorite weapons but he uses his fist most of the time. Finnick (one off the allies they met up with) is good with his staff and it's his favorite weapons. It started to get dark out so Katniss, Peeta, and Finnick hike up the mountain to build a Place to stay. In this scene they used dialogue to see how the main character survived. The author was hinting at their problem throughout the story. The problem is Katniss Everdeen has to survive throughout the hunger games with her allies for her second year in a row and try to survive in a dome against 24 tributes. The theme the author developed in the story was no matter what stick up for ur friends and have their back and they will do the same for you. The author also used show don't tell by helping explain what they are about to do and help the readers understand. For example in the novel the author put more detail into their plan about how they are going to escape the dome. The author was talking about the materials they needed and what they were going to do with the materials. Being a good teammate means looking out for others and katniss looked out for others therefore katniss was a good
