Modern technology has revolutionized the way that people interact with different aspects of their lives. The abundance of social networking platforms, such as specialized smartphone apps geared toward certain things, gives a person the ability to do almost anything at the touch of a finger. Because of this, real-life events, previously only experienced in-person or in front of a television, gained the ability to reach the public through other means. A prime example of this is seen in the way sports evolved along with technology.
