The Real Ted Bundy
Has history ever left out specific facts, purposely? It is possible. Most know the story of Ted Bundy, his life, and what labeled him a ''serial killer". There is always more to a story. Ted Bundy was a serial killer, but he was also a well experienced charmer, and an abused adolescent with a troubled family. History shows that Ted Bundy used his charm to lure women to their deaths. His childhood played a big role in who he became as an adult. Ted's attraction to torture and murder seems to have been triggered by horrific memories. He was not labeled "psychotic" or "mentally disturbed", so what really drove him to torturing and brutally murdering hundreds of women?
As a child, Ted was shy and an easy target for bullying.

He was considered tall and slim eye candy, someone easy to approach. During his first series of murders, Ted would sneak into houses and beat the victims until they were unconscious or dead, and would sometimes sexually assault them with items in the rooms. His excuse for beginning to murder his victims was what he called his fear of getting caught. He did not want anything to get traced back to him. As his murders progressed he became bolder and specific. His specialty was beating his victims and sometimes strangling or drowning them. To hide his identity he would change his facial hair, cover any identifiable marks, and use many other disguises. Ted lured his victims in by asking for help with bags at a supermarket and leading them back to his car to what would be their kidnapping. To keep from having a hassle Ted would sometimes disguise himself as an officer or a firefighter. His looks brought him plenty of luck with the ladies. After the abduction, the victims would be sometimes be sexually assaulted and then strangled to death. What he thought of the victim determined where he would leave the body. These murders continued for years, but they would not last much longer. Ted reversed back to murdering women in their sleep and leaving behind evidence. Many of the bodies were found in a secluded area at Taylor Mountain. He hid many of the remains but some were left out to be found. Ted’s work had begun to get sloppy and
