Ronda did not have good taste in men and for that reason she was divorced once and almost completed a second one. On the last night of her second marriage, she was found with gun shot in the head. The county police department declared it a suicide; however, her mother, Barb Thompson, never truly accepted that her daughter committed suicide.
An article in the Teen Tribune tells how a 3-year-old black bear was captured at an elementary school in Bakersfield. The bear was first seen wandering around on school property and it not only interrupted the last day of school but, also a graduation ceremony that was being held at a middle school close by. The bear spotting caught everyone by surprise and soon all students that were outside were sent back to their classrooms as the bear started to come closer. And even though the bear kept its distance and nobody was in harm’s way, the authorities were called. Students who fall into the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, or questioning identity groups report being five times as more likely to miss school because they feel unsafe after being bullied because of their sexual orientation. LGB youth are 4 times more likely, and questioning youth are 3 times more likely, to attempt suicide as their straight peers (CDC). Self-harm is defined as the intentional act of hurting oneself, and has been very common in adolescents; however, very little is done to prevent it. In many cases self-harm ends in death or major medical problems, and it is often linked to suicide. Although self-harm is not directly a suicide attempt, it is a manifestation of thoughts of despair and anger. There are many ways people self harm, from burning, to pulling out their hair, to cutting. Suicides can be prevented by treatment of the illness.
Suicide is the second leading cause of death among the youth aged 15-29. (WHO, 2014) Youth are the future of generation and work population. The human value and cost of a human life are then should be questioned in the social norm. Besides, a significant number of people, includes governments, international and national non-government organizations, religious groups and education institutes emphasises that actions have to be taken to prevent suicide problem.
An emphasis is placed on the importance of identifying warning signs and risk factors for depression and suicide amongst teens. According to the research conducted by King and Vidourek (2012) early detection and suicidal warning signs is seen to be crucial for effective intervention. Teenagers need to be encouraged to be more proactive when it comes to their personal mental health. Positive coping mechanisms such as problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, and good conflict resolution skills are all essential in lessening the likelihood that a teen exhibiting depressive behaviors will go forth and take their own life. As most teenagers spend most of their time in school, better prevention and intervention programs need to be in place.

For some, suicide is the permanent solution to a temporary problem and most pressing public health issues across the world. Suicides case is so often these days even becoming a trend and we are not even flinch anymore. The depression and substances abuse for teenagers currently become issues that lead to suicide cases among teenagers.
