Costume: The dress was made with deerskin material along with the boots that were made with animal fur. The apparels during the late 1700’s was hand-made by using skins from the animal herds in their tribe. Because the Shoshone women were gatherers, protected the horses, collected wood to make fire, and arranged the teepees, their status was low and were treated with little respect in the Lemhi-Shoshone society. Sacagawea’s childhood in the Shoshone village near the Lemhi valley contributed mainly to patriarchal society which allowed her to gain special techniques to maintain her own livelihood.

The Hidatsa Indians killed all the men, women and boys at our tribe. Only young women like Sacagawea and her friend Naya Nuki, as they went to their village in North Dakota we worked as their slaves. In Great Falls, Montana I bought a condo there several years ago… the Lewis and Clark expedition learned for a route through the Rocky Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. Sacagawea was the women who led the two men.
A crucial part of American history is the values brought with immigrants hoping to settle in the country. Several historians examine the hopes and realities of early southern settlers in America contrastingly. Daniel B. Thorp considers Moravian Church settlement in North Carolina and argues that Moravians came to the south with a plan that was ultimately modified without losing its focus or origin; contrarily, Alan Gallay, focusing on the founding of Georgia, suggests that immigrants brought a plan to Georgia that was completely changed in order to allow for establishment in the area. Colin Woodard, in looking at the beginning of the southern nations, finds that their expectations for their new settlement fully became realities. In actuality,
Geronimo was an Apache warrior who was born in 1829 and became one of the most feared out of Indian leaders of the 19th century. When Geronimo was born he grew into becoming part of the Bedonkohe tribe, which at the time was one of the smallest band out of the Chiricahua Apache tribes. At that time in history, the Chiricahua Apaches, specifically the Bedonkohe tribe, would have lived in what is now New Mexico and Arizona in the United States of America. Geronimo is important because he was a warrior; he fought for his land and then only surrendered because surrendering was less important than his followers’ lives. When Geronimo became of age, he grew up in a time of bitter battle between the Chiricahua Apaches and the Mexicans in the South,
As I type this post, three books I ordered have come in with some disappointment on my part. As I look at Chris McNab’s book Native American Warriors 1500-1890 CE, I recognize a book that I will be donating. Finding appropriate source material is a priority, though I goofed with this, there is sufficient material for a topic such as mine. My goal is to gather primary and secondary source material. To prepare a strong argument, I need some primary source material for the foundation of the argument.
Relying on others to tell someone what to do and how to live is not living. Montag, the main character, is first like everyone else in his society. He soon met a girl named Clarisse, who helped him change. Ray Bradbury’s novel, Fahrenheit 451, uses devises to show individuality and sameness.

As children mature, there is little that sets the sexes apart. Children play with whomever they choose, regardless of gender. Children in the tribe have surprisingly little chores to do, if any, so playing with other children consumes much of their days. ! Kung parents take much delight in their children, and children are rarely severely punished. The chores that the children do have create early gender roles, mainly for girls.
The Ferocious Warrior In battles, there is always an army that is stronger than the other. The strong army will always have a ferocious warrior that is extremely skilled in battle. In fact, one of the most powerful Native American tribes is known as the Mohawk tribe. The organization had completed a list of Native women’s reproductive rights, thus providing specific principles they believe are fundamental for every woman. Such as number 10 which states “The right to stop coerced sterilization” (Smith, 105). For Native women, their ability to give birth to the next generation of their people is continuously seen as an obstacle in obtaining their land and resources in the eyes of the government. America uses intensive agriculture where many large machines are used to plant and harvest food for people all around the world. Next, instead of sending boys warrior camp, Americans send all children, male and female, to public school. Instead of teaching boys how to protect their communities and act as warriors, American children learn about many different subjects and are encouraged to look into any profession that interests them. In conclusion, unlike the martial practices within the Maasai culture, girls in American are not married off after they reach puberty.
