Terrell Owens-The Machine in The Field
Terrell Owens is inarguably one of the most controversial figures off the field in the history of NFL. Born in 1973, the six-time Pro Bowl selection has played for Seattle Seahawks for the better part of his career. He is a talented player and is highly respected for his abilities in the field. Owens holds and shares several NFL records and whenever he is in the field the NFL betting odds cannot be stacked against him.
Hall of Fame Plight
Earlier this year, it was an unexpected turn of events when Terrell Owens failed to get voted in the Hall of fame awards. Ironically, the fans are the ones who are outraged as Terrell Owens doesn’t seem to be affected. In the beginning of his seven years with San Francisco 49ers, Owens was drafted in the third round. This was a humble beginning. In his career, he soared to heights of greatness to become the second ranked player in NFL history after accomplishing 15, 934 receiving yards, 1,078 receptions and 153 receiving touchdowns. Further, he has won is a six times Pro bowl selection, five times first team all pro selection and three times NFL receiving touchdown leader. Three touchdowns ahead of Owens, is Randy Moss. Jerry Rice is the other player ahead of Owens and Owens mentor.
