Domestic terrorism refers any forcefulness act exerted on the civilian population or the infrastructure of a particular nation. Mostly domestic terrorism is done by the citizens of the nation with the intention of coercing, intimidating the national policy. A lone wolf terrorist is a situation where a citizen performs a forceful act supporting or basing on ideology and beliefs of certain movements or groups. One person alone without any command or assistances does a lone terrorist from the group.
It is unfair to link other ‘regular’ Muslim Americans as terrorists. In “Why Trump Makes Me Scared For My Family”, Aziz Ansari effectively informs his audience that being Muslim should not be linked to terrorism. He does this through his use of data, personal stories, and his credibility. Because he is Muslim American, Ansari is a credible source for this issue.

Terrorism can never be moral because it violates all “excuses” and torture is an acceptable tactic to save lives.

As long as I can remember, I have been raised to believe that people that fit these so-called ‘terrorists’ description are bad people who support terrorism on America. “The 9/11 terrorists broke numerous laws of Islam and were denounced as mass murderers by Islamic religious leaders. Even so, Islam is viewed as a religion preaching violence.” This is isn’t surprising, since Americans know little about even the most basic tenets of Islam. Islam is the second-largest religion in the world, and Muslims make up more than one-fifth of the world’s population, but Americans continue to know little about the religion.
Homegrown Terror is violent acts committed by citizens or residents of a state against their own people or property within that state without foreign influence in an effort to instill fear on a population or government as a tactic designed to advance political, religious, or ideological objectives. This topic has been one of the most talked about in the presidential race. The politicians in the running, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, are often given the question about their solution with homegrown terrorism. All of their solutions that were mentioned on both sides, were both very interesting. But at the end, one of the solution, that Clinton made and it really stood out the most.
In Western society today, one of the most misconstrued topics that is discussed in the news is terrorism. The Criminal Code of Canada defines terrorism as, “an act committed, in whole or in part, for a political, religious or ideological purpose, objective or cause with the intention of intimidating the public” (Government of Canada, 2015). Despite the clarity of this definition, the general North American population has misconceived the usage of this word, and instead, labels acts of terror as different – and often, less harsh – words. This error is especially prevalent in the United States, where political leaders now lead the country into believing that terrorism is exclusive to Islam.
