He was a conceited, greedy, and selfish man that wanted all of the wealth for himself, but in the end a transformation would happen that nobody saw coming. First off, the drama had many different people of all personalities including the main character Ebenezer Scrooge. It also has all of the other main parts such as his nephew and the ghosts.” Nephew! There is always little differences even if they are hard to find or notice. Between the movie and the drama the biggest difference noticed is the arrival time of the Past, Present, and Future. It states in the play, “ Expect the first one tomorrow, when the bell tolls one. Expect the second on the next night at the same hour.The third upon the next night when the last stroke of twelve has ceased to vibrate.” (Dickens 10) The drama does not include the poor people. It also does not have the meal during present or Scrooge talking to Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit’s son. While Scrooge is talking to the thin and portly man deal is disrupted in the movie but not the play. Aside the two formats it is also harder to visualize what is going on with the play and is much easier to see while watching the movie.
