The main idea of this passage is that there is a way to have lunches that don't produce waste, such as plastic bags or wrappers. The author says to do this all you have to do put your lunch in reusable containers and put it in a lunch bag instead of a brown paper bag. I think that it might be important to have the type of attitude Reinhart has when thinking about saving the environment because the environment may never be 100% healthy so it is good to look on the positive side. It also hints that you are at least trying to to save the environment. I believe that it is better to imperfectly try to save the environment rather than understanding that it will never be perfect and not trying at all. I think this way because nobody and nothing is perfect but we still try to work on fixing it.
