Thanksgiving and Christmas are special times of the year when families come together and celebrate, Christmas and Thanksgiving represent the union of family, charity, & gratitude. These holidays share many similarities concerning the gifts & memories they provide to thousands every year & yet contrast each other in worldwide appreciation. Both holidays represent the union of family, charity, and gratitude. Upon reaching adulthood, children tend to leave the comfort and security of their parents’ home in order to establish their own lives; however, they always return home during Christmas and Thanksgiving to spend time with their families.
The Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are similar in that they both abound with colorful decorations specific to their themes. They also involve deeply rooted traditions that are treasured and embedded in people's minds. Family is of utmost importance. Both holidays celebrate meaningful gifts from God to his people. Thanksgiving is for thanking God for the gift of harvest and plenty, whereas, Christmas is to thank and commemorate Jesus coming as a baby. Thanksgiving and Christmas begin with the decorations. Thanksgiving and Christmas are two very prominent holidays for bringing out all the wonderful seasonal decorations. For Thanksgiving time you might see pumpkins arranged on front lawns or scarecrows popped out on trees or even wreaths made out of the fallen leaves from the trees.
