There are several different medical issues in health care. Some medical issues are not well known throughout America, whereas some are talked about on the local news every week. Every year different issues will occur and will be discussed more frequently. However, there are some medical issues that always seem to be discussed throughout the media. A great example of this would be abortion, which is the intentional deliberation of a human pregnancy. Ever since I knew what an abortion was, I have constantly heard the topic being debated and opinions and beliefs being expressed. These individuals say that abortion is the murder of an innocent human who has yet to be born. Although these babies are unborn, they have still have a right to live. The majority of people who are against abortion follow the word of the Lord, and the Bible states “Thou shalt not kill” whether a person is born or unborn. A common phrase by those who do not support abortion is “if you were mature enough to have sex, then you should be mature enough to have a child.” This phrase pretty much states that a woman should not use abortion as a contraceptive and that if a woman gets pregnant, she should be responsible enough to care for the child. Abortion can be a good thing for those who were raped and got pregnant by their rapists. The majority of mothers would not want to give birth to a child that is a constant reminder of their rapist. In this case, abortion should be allowed. Also, for those are cannot financially support their families or themselves should consider abortion. No child should be brought into this world to live a life full of struggle, wondering if they will have a meal that day or a place to sleep at night. Women who were doing drugs or drinking alcohol during their pregnancy should have the right to have an abortion. These children could possibly be born with defects and mental disabilities due to the alcohol and drug abuse by their mothers. Abortion is a huge act that determines the life of a fetus, therefore it is a big deal and should not be taken
