As seen throughout human history, humans have a sense of moral and instinct which keeps them safe and assists them in making decisions. Human being have the independence to make their own decisions, even when the government has laws in place. The controversy surrounding the idea of laws is never ending; not all laws are meant to be followed. It is justifiable to break a law in order to ensure safety of citizens, prevent any further emotional problems for those in need, and to fight against unjust rules. First and foremost, rebelling against the law can be justified because it can be used to fight a morally correct reason. It can be agreed that breaking laws is fine if a citizen’s safety is being compromised by another’s illicit actions. If these same laws are creating more problems for people, it can be concluded that they are also unfair. Euthanasia, the act of ending the life of an individual suffering from an incurable illness, is a cause for uproar within the scientific community. Euthanasia is illegal in almost every state in the United States and it leads to incredible amounts of patient and family suffering. A paramedic known to Dallas, John, was in a situation where his friend was in a fatal car accident. The man was on fire and had no chances of survival but John could do nothing to put his friend out of his misery. In the end, the man died a gruesome and sad death which could have prevented if the Euthanasia law was not in place. The law of Euthanasia, in many instances including this one, has led to a lot of emotional damage. Not only did this law create more pain for the victim, it was also painful for family and friends to hear about the awful tragedy.
