Sudipta Bardhan and Diana Childress are both authors of two stories. One named “A Life Painting Animals” and the other being “The Osage Firebird”. Both talk about a person’s life and their ways to overcome difficult obstacles. One however did the best to describe the person’s ways on overcoming them. That was “A Life Painting Animals” by Diana Childress; it showed what she did to overcome her many obstacles to be successful.
I have read Wilma Unlimited and Henry's Freedom Box. They both have the same theme,but different approaches to teach the theme. Both teach never to give up,but in different ways. I hope you agree with my opinion that the author did a great job on approaching the theme. These two books show similar ways of never giving up.
The "The Lesson" by Toni Cade Bambara appears to be a lesson on social class and having a choice which society we choose to live in. In the story use of language, symbolism, equality, shame, and education to give a reader sense of hope for the narrative Sylvia and her friends. The author use outside world, symbolism, and tools to teach a life lesson to the children. She used toy’s store to teach children a lesson and inspire them to aim for success and seek for better themselves and their situation. The microscope has symbolic value, it has the capability to reveal what we cannot be seen with the naked eye.
One summer a group of children and their teacher visited a different side of town. Trying to teach them what education and class can do for them and making sure they learn their lesson by going far in their dreams. The story “The Lesson” by Toni Cade Bambara, explains that with education a person is capable of doing anything and going far from where a person stands. The main characters in the story know as Sylvia, learns her lesson that she can go far from where she stand. The other main character Ms. Moore, the teacher in the story teaching the group of children to dream big and that anything is possible if they put effort to it and it does not matter where you come from.

The book teaches helps you realize that it’s a long road, but it’s worth it, it’s the friends we meet along the way that help us through the tough times are there with you for your best memories, and families may come from different places, but they join together and become closer than anybody else. In life you come across many problems and tasks you must overcome. The first piece of artwork I critiqued was the famous Virgin of Guadalupe. The Virgin of Guadalupe is currently exhibited in the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City. The piece of art is not solely a painting, but an enconchado. It was made into wood, and it essentially creates a reflective surface that appears as moving. Also, I like how they explain their theory on the woman of the apocalypse and how it relates to this piece of art.

The tools and techniques used by an artist create a theme for them and their work, whether they know it or not. Having a theme helps people identify an artists work. Creating a theme can be as simple as the colors or tones an artist uses. I will be analyzing work by Catherine Murphy, Fernado Botero, and Susan Moore. Catherine Murphy is famous for her self portraits.
I was pleasantly surprised when I first encountered Emily’s work which is mainly due to her charming and low-key personality. At that moment a question popped in my head. How can such deranged and sexual imagery come from someone seemingly so sweet? To see work that delicately delineated such charged interactions with figures that seem emotionally mute towards the chaos signaled thoughtful quirkiness.
The book Wonder by R.J. Palacio is a story about a ten year old boy named Auggie with a facial birth defect, and his experiences going to a private school after being homeschooled. Auggies parents made the decision to send him to a private school as they felt it would be good for him. Auggie discovers that going there are many hardships when going to school and at some points even getting bullied. But along with the hardships he also finds many great things when going to school that help him change as a person. Auggies parents made the correct decision when sending him to school as it helped him for the better

It is about an Asian-American girl and the racism her family experiences living in Georgia. The book for the second semester is “the Great Gilly Hopkins” It is about a young White girl named Gilly who has been placed in the foster care system and forced to interact with Black people.
