On March 4, 1974 in Lake Walsh, Florida a nine-year-old boy was taken from his home, and dragged to a baseball field and raped. When he was questioned by the police he said his attacker was between the age of seventeen or eighteen, with bushy sideburns and a mustache. The boy’s uncle said that description sounds like a man named Jimmy Bain. When the police showed the victim the lineup photos, the victim pointed out Bain, but out of the six suspects only Jimmy Bain and one other man had sideburns. On March the 5, 1974 at midnight Jimmy Bain was questioned by the police.

Charles Guiteau is the man who killed President James Garfield. Many believe that this man had to have some type of mental disorder, though we cannot be sure if he did or did not have a mental disorder and if so, what it was we can infer from our known knowledge about mental disorders that Charles Guiteau may have been suffering from. After watching the video over at Guiteau I personally think that Guiteau was schizophrenic. One of the biggest reasons why I think Guiteau has schizophrenia is because of his auditory hallucinations. Many people who have schizophrenia are known to have voices talking to them telling them to kill themselves or other people, or to do other things they aren’t comfortable with.

The despot Saddam Hussein started the Iraq war, a warmonger who overthrew the government in Iraq. The United States captured Hussein and he went on trial in front of the Iraqi High Tribunal for crimes, including the murdering of 148 Shi’iahs in the village of Dujail in 1982 (PBS, 23). The assassination of Saddam Hussein was just because he rose to political power and maintained it through violent means and was a war-hungry despot, looking to conquer the Middle East; however others believe that the United States viewed him as such and that he had good intentions in mind.
