It all started many generations ago, the feud between the capulets and the montagues. Although we don't know when or how it started it caused many problems between many characters during the play. The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is a play by Shakespeare where two star crossed lovers, Romeo who was a Montague and Juliet who was a capulet. Who weren't allowed to be together because of their families. The three reasons that led to the banishment of Romeo in Act 3 scene 1 of the play was Romeo and Juliet getting married, which made Romeo a lot nicer and gave him a different point of view not wanting to fight Tybalt. The second reason is when Mercutio refused to walk away and continued to fight Tybalt, And the third reason is that Tybalt actually killed Mercutio which led to Romeo going back and killing Tybalt. …show more content…
