In the 20th Century, an English rock and roll band known as “The Beatles” would revolutionize rock and roll and music itself into what it is today. The Beatles began building their reputation by playing clubs located in Liverpool and in Hamburg from 1960-1963. Their career would then grow larger with an audience proving the band to be amazing musicians. The band weren’t just great musicians though, they were able to write and compose each and every song produced by them. When they grew large in the United States, they called it the “British Invasion of the Beatles”. The Beatles were one of the most influential and most impactful music groups in the 20th century. The members of The Beatles were John Lennon (Rhythm Guitarist), Paul McCartney (Bass Guitarist), George Harrison (Lead Guitarist), and Pete Best (Drummer) who would eventually be replaced by Ringo Starr for “not being very good”. The group would play small gigs in clubs located in Liverpool and Hamburg for many hours until they would meet their manager and produce their first single “Please Please Me”.
