The Greatest Rock Band of All Time
As John Lennon quoted, in 1966, “The Beatles are bigger than Jesus.” The Beatles became a band in 1960's. The original Beatles consisted of drummer Pete Best, bassist Stuart Sutcliffe, and guitarists McCartney, Harrison, and Lennon. During the 1960’s the Beatles became widely regarded as the foremost and most influential act of the rock era.

After Ringo quit the Hurricanes he joined the Beatles in August 1962, replacing the drummer Pete Best.
