Poe and Frost “Fire and Ice” by Robert Frost is about that desire is like fire and hatred is like ice. “ Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost is about that he is standing a cross road, and he choices the road less traveled on, but the roads are actually choices that is why he can not turn back once he chooses. “The Bells” by Edgar Allen Poe is about how there is a date .then a wedding next there is a fire finally there is a funeral. In this poem the wife dies in the fire. There are silver bells for the date ; golden bells for the wedding, brazen bells for the fire, and iron bells for the funeral. Which he thinks that it will all end in a fiery death ; because, that is his opinion. He was thinking about the events first, there were silver bells for the date. Next, there were golden bells for the wedding. Then, brazen bells for the fire. Finally there were iron bells for the funeral. Then he decided to hope that the world would end in fire; so, that everyone could experience what he experience which was watching his loved one die a slow and painful death.
