The Big Bad Wolf, Continued The Big Bad Wolf. I’m sure you’ve heard of him before. His fame is in the name. Definitely a big creature, not to mention that snout of his. He remains tall, yet shabby, covered in a ragged, faded, gray coat that is broken with a few wounds and two gleaming red eyes that pierce the soul like an arrow through a pillow. I guess he couldn’t help being born ugly. Now the bad part of him is even more obvious than his big part. Evil and selfishness have possessed his heart although most of the time he acts out of stupidity. Most people know the Big Bad wolf to be dead. (Although he was wondering if it would be better if he were dead) So he took off running like the wind, so very frightened that any second he would be caught, he dashed to the nearest hiding place in sight which to his misfortune, was the house of the three little pigs. Since the wolf was so terribly frightened, also to his disadvantage, he didn’t see it as the house of the three little pigs. He saw it as a place to take refuge. Since he was quite tired of running and he didn’t want anyone to see him across the open country, he crouched low to the ground and slowly approached the little brick house. Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad mistake. And things weren’t looking up. Once the Big Bad Wolf reached the house, he was still huffing and puffing. If you’ve ever read the story of the three little pigs, you would know that huffing and puffing was what the wolf did to blow down the house of the little pigs. Once more, an awful mistake. Thereupon to the poor three little pigs, they saw it as the Big Bad Wolf creeping up on them and then trying to blow their house down and for goodness sakes kill them! The three pigs were so terribly frightened and freaked out that they squealed so loud and shrill that it shattered their glass windows. To the dwarfs when they arrived, it appeared as though the wolf was simply trying to get off the roof so he wouldn’t catch on fire. So they rushed over and stood one on top of the other and reached up to try and help the Big Bad Wolf down, whose tail had suddenly turned from dull gray to blaze orange. Astonishing! Back inside the house the three little pigs were still freaking out and still weren’t realizing what was turning to ashes.
