William Shakespeare’s, Romeo and Juliet is about two lovers who tragically died. When the play advances to the end, the Prince of Verona wants to know who was responsible for the deaths; that including, Tybalt, Mercutio, Pairs, Romeo, and Juliet. A punishment would be waiting for the responsible person, if they call themselves out. The readers know that Friar Lawrence, Romeo and Juliet’s love, and the family’s feud are all to blame. Firstly, the blame should be called on Friar Lawrence because of the way he helped the two lovers. Friar Lawrence said, “ … I’ll give thee remedy. ”. He proceeds to aid Juliet, so she does not have to marry Paris, nor be unhappy. ( DBQ Project, Document C ). Friar also says, “ … I’ll thy assistant be … ”. ( DBQ Project, Document C ).
