He wrote the book The Boy in the Striped Pajamas he grew up reading lots of books and he read one book about children fleeing Poland during world war 2. He wanted to write a book about children as strong and brave as they were. Bruno and Gretel did not really like each other and could barely stand each other until near the end of the book. Bruno always called Gretel a “hopeless case” like his mother sometimes did as well. Gretel often called Bruno “Stupid” and other names that his mother did not like and she told her to be quiet when she said them. At Out With all he could see was the farm with all the people in striped pajamas. He didn’t have anyone to play with at Out With either in Berlin he had Karl, Daniel, and Martin. Overall he disliked Out With until he met Shmuel then he liked it a lot possibly even more than the house in Berlin. She means that because of the state of Bruno’s Father’s job they cannot get out of moving away from Berlin and going to “Out-With.” She is angry because she has no power to even state her opinion to The Fury. She is unhappy at Out-With because she knows what is happening near their house and she is not happy that she has to raise the children near that kind of mess and in my opinion, I think she is kind of against what was happening, but her being a woman meant that she didn’t really have a say in what the country did so she tried to put up with it but she absolutely hated it and she kept pushing to have the kids and her move but she was a little too late.I think that he used two boys because they didn’t really understand what was happening but due to the circumstances they were friendly to each other and easily became good friends.
