He then comes back and takes Sarny to a school for slaves. The theme to me is one man can change lives. One reason why one person can change the world is a theme can be found on page 38. To sum up the reading, NIghtjohn told Sarny about the alphabet and how you need to know it before you can read. The reason this shows the theme is NIghtjohn began to open doors for Sarny by helping her read and write.

The story is told through a first person perspective of adult Billy remembering his experiences as a child. The point of view is the perspective in which a story is told from. Having the story be told in first person gives a reader a more emotional and personal feeling towards the story, which allows them to take in more thematic details for the story. It also amps up the effect and supportiveness of the other literary elements. With each quote Billy says the reader can feel his emotions on a personal level.

The theme of hope is prominent in the story as shown by Guy and Little Guy. The hot air balloon gives Guy hope that things will be better for him sooner. The lines that Little Guy recites are full of messages of hope, and it gives him the courage to face the future. Freedom is also an important theme in the story. The characters are free in their minds, as shown by their actions and isolating themselves from the community.
The theme of my book is keep your friends close but your enemies closer. The author’s reasons of this theme is you would not think that would be a big deal in any other but in Abnegation maybe or even Amity. The theme is important because if
The movie Cinderella Man was incredibly accurate of what it was like to live in the great depression, in its portrayal of the characters, setting, and events of the movie. Like in the movie, Jim J. Braddock was a boxer that lived during the great depression. He had many adversities that he had to face, and they are generally what fueled him to continue fighting. Movies usually tend to over exaggerate struggles, but Cinderella Man shows the raw reaction and reality during that time. The details about the characters in this movie are very accurate except for a few small details.
Shmuel, a character in the book The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne, is a nine year old Polish boy who is being held prisoner in the concentration camp Auschwitz. The first characteristic one notices about Shmuel's appearance, is how strange he looks. Shmuel’s skin is the color of grey, his eyes are enormously sad looking and they are the color of caramel sweets, and his body is small and skinny from taking in small portions of food once a day. As one gets to know him, Shmuel is sensitive, a loyal friend, and a good listener. While Shmuel and Bruno have their daily meetup, Shmuel is very cautious about who might see him.
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is a novel about the a boy named Bruno growing up in Nazi Germany. His father’s job includes military work for the Fuhrer and is promoted to Auschwitz, a Holocaust concentration camp. Bruno and his family has to move with his father there and Bruno decides he wants to go home. Then, he meets Shmuel, a Jewish child imprisoned in the camp and they quickly bond as friends. Eventually, their friendship leads to each of their demise when Bruno helps Shmuel in looking for his father.
I chose that theme because in “The boy in the striped pajamas” it’s about a boy named Bruno meets a boy named Shmuel. Bruno help Shmuel by bringing him food and talking to him. In
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas Literary Analysis In the novel ,The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Bruno is a boy who lived in Berlin, Germany, but in 1942 his father received an important promotion that made it so that Bruno and his family would have to move to the dangerous concentration camp Auschwitz in the Polish countryside. His father is the Commandant of Auschwitz and is loyal to the Nazi cause, his mother is stressed out because she doesn't like what her husband is doing and what it will do to the children, and Gretel, Bruno’s sister, is slowly becoming a Nazi, supporting Hitler and disliking, almost even hating, the Jews. Bruno is very influenced by his family and his decisions and actions are affected by them.
To me the best theme in the story is friendship. I believe that every person needs to show friendship to
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas uses imagery in many different ways. For example, the fence of the concentration camp, Auschwitz separates Bruno's world and Shmuel’s world. Although they are very close physically, emotionally and mentally they are very far. The fence is used as an image of a cage in the novel. The fence of Auschwitz traps the people inside the camp and defeats all hope for the prisoners.
