The Bucket List was directed by Rob Reiner; written by Justin Zackham; director of photography, John Schwartzman; edited by Robert Leighton. Running time: 1 hour 38 minutes. The major actors in “The Bucket List” are Jack Nicholson, who plays as Edward, Morgan Freeman who plays as Carter, Sean Hayes who play as Thomas. The issue the film is addressing is “You only live once, so why not go out in style?”, indicating that don’t wait till it’s too late to undertake the things we love the most. The main thesis of this story is that we don’t value time like we should, we should not put off our dreams or what we want to do the most and should get working on it now. Basically, it’s informing us to find purpose and pursue those purposes before time runs out. Although, in the movie the two main characters are conflicting, One being a man with great moral principles of his family and the other being a rich man with less moral values. By some means, they were able to find common interest in each other to fulfill their experiences or achievements they hope to accomplish.
